Cuong Do, M.B.A.

Cuong Do serves on the ILiAD Executive Board and is currently Executive Vice President, Global Strategy Group at Samsung. Prior to Samsung, Cuong was the Chief Strategy Officer for Merck, Tyco Electronics, and Lenovo. He was also a former senior partner at McKinsey & Company, where he spent 17 years and helped build the healthcare, high tech and corporate finance practices. He has helped companies grow by pursuing new opportunities through internal development, acquisitions, corporate venturing, and partnerships.

Cuong is a proven biotech and pharmaceutical entrepreneur having been Founder and Chairman of Callidus Biopharma (a biotech company working in rare diseases that was acquired by Amicus Therapeutics in 2013) and Lysodel Therapeutics (company developing an innovative pharmaceutical product for obesity).

Cuong is active with many philanthropic activities, particularly in autism. He founded Identifor, Inc. and Identifor Foundation to help autistic teenagers identify abilities and strengths to make the transition to adulthood. He also founded Profectum Foundation to help train clinicians and parents on how to work with autistic children. He helped build Celebrate the Children, a school for children with special needs in New Jersey. He serves on the board of Autism Speaks and its Executive, Strategy, Science and Family Services committees.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
